About Wiser Dots
Wiser Dots makes explainer videos about how the systems around us really work, one question at a time.
What the posts are for
A video has to leave things out. Each post here picks up where its video stops: the crashes, places and ideas we cut, the numbers behind the story, and what is still unknown.
How we check facts
Every claim in a video or a post rests on a quote from a source: an accident report, a law, a survey, a paper or a news report. We keep a saved copy of each one. Encyclopedias, forums and other videos can point us to a source, but they never count as proof on their own. Each post lists its sources at the end, with the line each claim rests on.
